An MRI confirmed that Broncos DE Ty Warren tore his triceps, which will put him out for most, if not all, of the season. The Broncos also released Denver native RB LenDale White.

Quotes from the team at today's camp:

HEAD COACH JOHN FOX

On DT Ty Warren

“He’s been part of the deal, especially in camp, but we have a ‘next-man-up’ philosophy, so [DT Brodrick Bunkley] ‘Bunk’ and [DT] Kevin Vickerson will get an opportunity along with some others. We will just take it day-to-day.”

On RB LenDale White being released

“He came off an Achilles surgery. We just felt at this point that we’ve got some young guys to give an opportunity to, and that’s the decision we made.”

DEFENSIVE TACKLE KEVIN VICKERSON

On DT Ty Warren and DT Marcus Thomas’ injuries affecting the defensive line

“I don’t think it’s going to affect us at all. It’s going to be missing some vital pieces without those two guys, but we have to be accountable for everybody. Other guys have to step up and they have to be pros at it. It’s part of the business.

“The guys that we brought in were [DT Brodrick] Bunkley and [DT Jeremy] Jarmon and [DT Ryan] McBean returning and [DT] Mitch Unrein and the guys inside, so we should be alright. There’s just a lot of communication we have to get going and things to that nature, but we should be alright.”
